Progress Place is a recovery centre for people living with mental illness such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Depression and Anxiety. Book a tour and become a Member. Members have the opportunity to manage the reception area and greet visitors; operate the petite cafe; work with staff in the Digital Media Studio producing Radio Totally Normal Toronto (RTNT), a podcast that explores and showcases stories from Toronto's diverse mental health community; learn administrative functions such as banking, data entry, managing a membership database, and compiling statistics for funders and survey analysis - all in a friendly, clubhouse environment. At the centre of Clubhouse programming is the “work-ordered-day” which mirrors a typical working day. Members and staff work in partnership to run all aspects of the organization and Teamwork blurs the lines between Staff and Members who are paid and supported through Community Partners.
